Exploring god’s world and Serving others
What are we doing?
Veritas Scholars Academy faculty and students will serve alongside Catalyst Resources International (CRI). We will build three houses, distribute food, and enjoy the hospitality of CRI’s guest houses in San Cristobol, a safe suburb of Guatemala City.
showing god’s love through acts of service
Guatemala is known as the Land of Eternal Springtime and is filled with beautiful vistas of active volcanoes, coffee plantations, Mayan ruins, Spanish colonial cities, and tropical rainforests. It is home to over 17 million people. 54% of its population live in poverty and are in great need.
We want to show God’s love to the people in need in Guatemala through acts of service and generosity.

Join our Dean of Students
Our very own Dean of Students, Trisha Williams, former missionary to Guatemala and former teacher of CRI founders Fontaigne and Paula Greene’s own daughters, who now serve with them in the ministry, will be serving on this trip, along with other VSA teachers. CRI seeks to partner in Guatemala with pastors and other Christian organizations in an effort to meet the physical and spiritual needs of the people. Their role over the years has been as a catalyst to connect resources to those in need.
